MSS To Try Again

After they were rained out earlier in the year at Sandusky Speedway, the Midwest Supermodified Series will look to run its inaugural race this weekend at Midvale Speedway. Two supermodifieds were on hand last Saturday at Barberton Speedway to promote the series.

Tifft and Mills Update

Matt Tifft and Matt Mills both ran in Saturdays NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono Raceway. Tifft started 21st and finished 14th in his No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet. The Hinckley native is 9th in the NXS standings with 1 top-5 and 6 top-10 finishes.

Mills returned to the No. 15 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports and finished 27th after starting 31st. The New Philadelphia native will be back in the No. 15 Camaro this weekend at Michigan International Speedway.

Bloomquist Still Leads The Way In Dirt Million Reward Points

Scott Bloomquist and Bobby Pierce remain atop the Dirt Million driver reward points through week 14 of 25. Bloomquist leads with 20,871 points, 2,415 in front of Pierce. Max Blair is up one spot this week into 3rd, dropping Tyler Carpenter to 4th. Devon Moran is 5th, 2,713 behind Carpenter. The top four in reward points after 25 weeks will be locked into the Dirt Million main event.

Sprint Speedweek Around The Corner

Ohio Sprint Speedweek is just nine days way. The 36th annual event will push-off on Friday, June 15th at Attica Raceway Park. The rest of the schedule is as follows:

June 18th: Wayne County Speedway – Orrville, Oh
