Conneaut, OH — Raceway 7’s annual “Autograph Night will be held this week. All cars in the pit will be brought to the main straight and fans will be allowed access to the racing surface to mingle and obtain autographs and memories of their favorites. The annual event is a favorite of fans, especially younger fans, as “goodies” of all sorts are handed out to kids of all ages.

On track action will include all five class in only the third event of the season, thanks to ground soaking spring rains. With only two points nights in the books Kyle Zimmerman and Darrell Bossard both have Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Crate Late Model feature wins. Bossard is the point leader over Breyton Santee by 24 points, a large margin after only two events. Dave Airgood, Zach Kane, and Chad Sines fill out the top five.

The Bonnell’s Collision Center Emod title run is so far between many time champion Joel Watson and the defending champion Gary Eicher. Each has a win in the young season with Watson having a second place finish and Eicher a third. As a result, Watson has a thin five-point lead. Troy Johnson and Bud Watson are tied for third, 26-point in arrears of Eicher. Billy Henry is fifth after two events.

Jason Fosnaught holds a narrow three point margin over Chris McGuire in the Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stock points with Mike Clark, Pat Fielding, and Paul Schreckengost filling out the top five. Fielding and Curt Bish have scored wins with Bish, who only has one appearance, mired in eighth place in the standings.

The two-time and reigning Bonnell’s Auto Sales Economod Champion, Steve Haefke, is leading the pack in his quest to win three titles in succession by eight markers over Eric Reinwald. Buzz Seitz is currently third with Dustin Demattie fourth and Matt Alexander fifth. Reinwald and Josh Ferry have each collected feature wins this far in the season.

With two wins in as many weeks Zach Downes leads the Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stock standings by fifteen points over Dillon Speer. Former champion Brad Cole is third with defending champion Joe Campbell fourth. Shawn McBride and Jim Haefke are tied for fifth.

Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday. General admission for regular events is $10 and children 7-14 admitted for $5 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $25 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth.
