Rain presented more problems as area tracks were forced to cancel shows on Friday and Saturday. Limaland Motorsports Park and Attica Raceway Park were hit with showers and forced to cancel Friday. Fremont Speedway, Wayne County Speedway, Waynesfield Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway all had to cancel on Saturday.

All tracks will be back racing next weekend with big shows in store. On Friday Limaland will host the FAST 305 Sprints, modifieds and thunderstocks. Limaland will host night #8 of Ohio Sprint Speedweek on June 22.

Attica Raceway Park will kickoff the 36th Annual Cometic Gaskets Ohio Sprint Speedweek with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday. After a stop at Eldora Speedway on Saturday, Sprint Speedweek will visit Waynesfield Raceway Park on Sunday (6/17).

Wayne County Speedway is set for a huge weekend for late model and sprint car fans. The dirt oval in Orrville will host the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series on Saturday, June 16th. Two days later the ASCoC visit for night #4 of Ohio Sprint Speedweek.

The Penn-Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series will be featured Saturday at Sharon Speedway. The Hartford, Ohio track will host the Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals, paying $10,000-to-win, presented by Blue Ox Timber. Per a press release on Saturday, more than 70 drivers are pre-entered for the event.

Saturday nights show at Fremont Speedway will feature the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series non-wing sprints. The 305 sprints, dirt trucks and limited late models will also be in action. Along with all the racing, it’s meet the drivers night at the “Track That Action Built.”
