At Sandusky Speedway this past weekend, the heat was present in the air and it carried over to the track. Three entertaining main events were contested quickly, safely and with excitement and respect in every turn.
Mark Resor won the twenty lap Street Stock feature over Justin Hamilton following a ten lap side by side battle and an inadvertent caution being thrown when the two got sideways on the back straightaway with a few laps remaining.
Dylan Watson won the King Realty Renegade Stocks twenty lap feature convincingly leading nearly from the onset after going from last to first in just two laps.
Stephen Klinect won the twenty lap modified feature over Kevin Jaycox Jr. Jaycox seemed poised to take his first modified win at Sandusky Speedway but Klinect seems to be the class of the field in modified competition right now and Klinect took the lead late to steal the victory.
Modifieds, street stocks and renegade will again be in attendance Saturday June 23rd. Pits open at 3, hot laps start at 4, qualifying to follow, with racing starting at 7.
