Conneaut, OH (September 10, 2018) — Raceway 7 will end its 2018 season this coming Saturday , September 15th, with a packed night of Four-Star racing topped off by a 40-lap, $5000 to win Super Late Models feature, the only appearance by the “ground-pounders” this season. It will also be the highest-paying event in the area for the Super Late Models that night. Group time trials will set starting spots for four heat races, then two “redraws” for Super Late Model and the Bonnell’s Collision Center E-Mod feature races. The top starting spots will be determined by redrawing the top two from each heat. The next spots by a redraw from the third and fourth finishers from the heat. The Bonnell’s Collision CenterE-Mods will pay $2000 for a 30-lap finale, the Economods $700 and will run 20 laps, and the Minis $350 for a 15-lap feature. For the Super Late Models, Eriez rules will be followed, for all other classes the regular Raceway 7 rules will prevail. All classes will have an open practice session Friday, September 14th, starting at 7:30. All dirt cars are invited to the open practice. Saturday gates will open at 4:30 and racing will begin at 6:30.
The events are being made possible with the help of sponsors, including The Home Tavern, The Bolt Place, Marc Hoegerl Racing, Voy Rivers BBQ, Jay’s Auto Wrecking, Glasswirks, and with the E-Mods, HBR Trucks.
Camping is available for all fans west of turns one and two. Campfires are permitted but debris must be cleaned up.
Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday during the regular season.
Friday grandstand admission is free and pit admission is $20 with practice starting at 7:30. Saturday admission for this special event is $20 and children 7-14 admitted for $10 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $30 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted to pits with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth. Raceday information is available at (440) 594-2222.
