All Stars Returning To Fremont
Fremont Speedway and the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions announcing last week that the series will return to Fremont in May. Fremont Speedway will host the All Stars on Sunday, May 26, closing out a three-day swing for the series through Ohio. The All Stars will visit Attica Raceway Park on Friday, May 24 and Wayne County Speedway on Saturday, May 25. The All Stars last visited Fremont Speedway in September of 2015.
More Schedules Released
Oakshade Raceway, The Painesville Speedway and Moler Raceway Park are the most recent racks to release schedules for the upcoming season. Oakshade Raceway, a 3/8-mile dirt oval will open on Saturday, April 27 with the Bill Reckner Memorial. Other popular events include the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series on June 1, the 30th Annual Barney Oldfield Race on June 15 and the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour finale on July 13.
Gates will swing open for the first time this season at The Painesville Speedway, a 1/5 mile asphalt oval on Saturday, April 20. Among the popular events on The Painesville Speedway schedule, the Battleground Street Stock Series on May 11 and July 27. The street stock winner both nights will secure a provisional for the 9th Annual Frank Lett Memorial on August 31. Modifieds will return on May 18, June 9, August 3 and 18 and September 21 and 22.
Moler Raceway Park will open on April 12. Late models return to the weekly schedule at Moler in 2019.
35 Raceway Park, a ¼ mile dirt oval in Frankfort has released a schedule of events for April and May. Opening night is April 13. Weekly divisions include modifieds, mod lites, sport mods, 4 cyl stocks, compacts, hobby stocks and V8 sportsman.

Must See Adds Sandusky
Sandusky Speedway has been added to the Must See Racing Sprint Car Series schedule. The winged 410ci sprint cars will visit the half-mile paved oval in Sandusky on August 25. It’s the only trip to Ohio for the Must See Sprint Car Series.
Shadybowl To Host Michael Waltrip
Current NASCAR on FOX analyst and former Cup Series driver Michael Waltrip will race at Shadybowl Speedway on July 20. Waltrip is a two-time winner of the Daytona 500. To order tickets visit shadybowlspeedway.rocks.
No Racing At Jackson County
Despite having release a schedule, officials with Jackson County Speedway have decided to not open in 2019. The track citing in a Facebook post that “lack of local support” was the reasoning behind the decision. The track and land do remain up for sale. If interested, you can purchase the track and land for $125,000. The land, without the track would cost a buyer $110,000.
Twin-State Car Show
Race fans are invited to join the Twin-State Auto Racing Club for their annual car show and promoters night. The car show will take place Friday, March 8 through Sunday March 10 at the Shenango Valley Mall in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Promoter’s night will be held on Saturday, March 9.
