Staff Report
Doug Anderson, a 58 year-old Australian has taken over as the new owner of Lorain County Speedway. An announcement made on the tracks Facebook page on Tuesday stated that Anderson and the Bonnema family completed a land contract sale for the track that became official last weekend.
No changes were announced, as the schedule and staff will remain as they are for the remainder of the 2019 season.
Does any one know what his plans are for the track. Ive been going since i was a kid pretty much grew up there. I would hate to see it close or become an over exspensive extravagant show peice.

Hi Brent. I was not able to be at the track tonight due to work. I have however seen on Facebook that it appears the plans are to stay with racing, but also host concerts on Friday nights. We’ll post as we see more. Here is a link for tickets for Trapt later this month. https://www.songkick.com/concerts/38608259-trapt-at-lorain-county-speedway?fbclid=IwAR1lJcIF3hk4AKvdiYmKhkRKbuM8NxRA2RpJjHbmP7BLpPX2Z0MScRO0cwg
