It’s been a great start to the 2020 racing season. With seven more days of racing left in Florida, there is still plenty of excitement ahead. The Lucas Oil Late Models, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions and the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars were among the series’ to get their seasons started this week.

Dresden, Ohio native Devin Moran earned his second career victory with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and his first at East Bay on opening night of the Wrisco Industries Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park. In the closest race of the week at East Bay, Mason Zeigler edged Kyle Bronson to the line by .068 seconds to capture the main event on Friday.

Brad Sweet, Arron Reutzel and Donny Schatz captured sprint car wins at Volusia Speedway Park. Sweet earned a win in the opener for the All Stars on Wednesday night with Reutzel winning with the All Stars on Thursday. Donny Schatz took home the win in the lid-lifter for the World of Outlaws at Volusia on Friday with Sweet capturing his second win of 2020, first with the World of Outlaws on Saturday.

Four first-time winners highlighted the modified action on Friday in the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds at Volusia.
