Staff Report

The Painesville Speedway released a statement Friday night on its Facebook page, stating the start of the 2020 season has been postponed. The announcement falls in line with the announcement from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine on Thursday that Ohio’s stay-at-home order would be extended to May 1.

Friday, May 1 is now the earliest any track in the state can open their 2020 season. This all due-to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
