Brian Deitz ~ Northern Ohio Racing Report

With the State of Ohio setting new regulations due to COVID-19, a number of race tracks throughout the state have been forced to cancel shows or make changes when allowing spectators.

Sharon Speedway has put racing on hold indefinitely. Midvale Speedway has postponed events until further notice. Events scheduled for this weekend at Muskingum County Speedway and Kil-Kare Raceway were both canceled. Moler Raceway Park had announced last week that they were closed until further notice due to mandates issued by the state.

Racing is still scheduled for tonight at Attica Raceway Park, though no general admission tickets will be sold. Pit passes will be available at the main ticket office and at the pit entrance for $25 for ages 11 and up. Kids 10 and under are free.

If there was ever a time to support local racing and the sponsors involved, now is that time. Just make sure you do it safely while following proper guidelines.
