It was a hot one on the Hill as over 100 cars entered the pits to battle it out among six divisions of racing action.

The Crozier Welding trucks started off the night’s events running a feature only. Last week’s winner, Travis Hare, would set the pace to the green, taking the early lead. A close second was Rolly Heyder as a side by side battle for third ensued between Dwayne Powell and Logan Duncan. Unfortunately, troubles for Powell and Duncan would bring out the caution, eight laps down, sending them both pit side. Back under green, Hare would once again take the lead as Heyder worked his bumper. Heyder, challenging, would get the run on the inside off turn four to take the lead with eleven laps in the books. Hare undeterred would charge back looking to retain the lead. However, he would be unable to do as the checkered dropped, it was Heyder who would pick up the feature win. Third went to Darek Cordia, fourth David Reed and fifth Blake Ripley.

Setting fast time among eighteen Holmes Tire late models was Dave Hornikel with a 15.223. Heat race wins would go to Rick Mardis and ‘Flyin’ Ryan Markham. Pole sitter, Mardis, would bring the field to the green and take the top spot over Markham and Hornikel. Single file, the top three, would advance over the field as caution would fly with three laps down. Back under green, Mardis would retain the top spot over the field and begin to put nearly a straight away between himself and second place Markham. Meanwhile, working his way through the field, securing second from Markham, with eight laps down was Corey Conley. Twelve laps in, with the leader coming up on lap traffic, caution would come out, bunching the field back up to the restart. With the green out, Conley would challenge Mardis for the top spot. However, unable to secure as Mardis would maintain his position out front. Fifteen laps down, caution would once again come out, single file back to the green. Side by side, Mardis would defend the lead against Conley. As the final ten laps dwindled, Mardis would ultimately start to pull away from the field, putting nearly a straight away between himself and second of Conley. Thus, as the checkered dropped, it was Rick Mardis picking up his first feature win on the season. Conley, Brandon Francis, George Lee, and Ryan Markham would round out the top five.

The Bugs-R-Gone modifieds featured a field of twenty-three with Kyle Moore picking up the fast qualifier with a 16.668. Heat race winners were ‘Rockin’ Robin Duston, Chris Basich and Casey Fritz. The last chance race went to Kyle Moore. With the field set, the green was out and Basich would jump out front early with Duston all over his bumper. Side by side, Duston would challenge Basich for the lead as caution would come out seven laps down. Back under green, Basich would again claim the top spot as Duston would look in. Meanwhile, working his way up to third after starting sixteenth, with nine laps down was Kyle Moore, looking to make it a three-way battle for the lead. Twelve laps in, Duston would make his move off turn two, down the backstretch, to secure the lead from Basich. With Duston out front, Moore would also claim second. Lap after lap, Moore would challenge Duston, wanting to obtain that so familiar position out front. However, he would be unable to surpass, as Duston would fend off every charge from Moore, parking it in victory lane for his first win of the season. Moore would finish second, Colton Shaw third, Casey Fritz fourth and Chris Basich fifth.

Kyle Moore and Kevin Potts would each pick up a win in the street stock division placing them in the top three redraw for feature position. With the redraw set, the green was out, and Moore would take the early lead over Potts. As the battle for top five ensued behind, Moore would continue to reign out front, ultimately picking up the win. Second went to David Potts, third, Kevin Potts, working his way to finish fourth after and eighth place start was Gary Hensel and fifth went to Jim Nicely.

A full field of twenty-three would make up the Snyder Hot Shot Truck and Trailer mod lite division with heat race wins going to Jimmy Smith, Reece Bollinger, and Darrell Mayer. After a top three redraw for starting position, Smith and Torrens would set the front row to the green. No stranger to the front, Jimmy Smith, would take the early lead over the field. After a number of cautions, Smith would maintain the lead as Braxton Wilson would work his way around Tim Callahan for second, down the backstretch with seven laps down. With another restart in the books, Wilson would begin to pressure Smith for the lead. Side by side, Wilson would get the runoff four to take the lead with twelve laps down. Three laps to go, Wilson would maintain his position at the front of the field, going on to pick up his first feature win of the season. Rounding out the top five was Darrell Mayer, Emmett Myers, Blake Morris, and Ryan Robey.

The night’s events concluded with the Short Track Safety Team mini stocks with a field of twenty-three. Picking up heat race wins were Doug Hensel, Travis Hutten, and Jordan James while Kaden Dewitt would claim the last chance race. A top three redraw after heats, would place Robert Searls and Kevin Markey on the front row. With the green out, Jordan James would take the early lead, as last week’s feature winner, and ninth place starter, Doug Hensel began to work his way through the field. Up to second, Hensel would begin to put the pressure on James. Lap for lap, James would defend the top spot. However, taking the white flag, Hensel would make a final charge, ultimately passing James to pick up the win, making it three in a row. James would be followed by Robert Searls, Ed Geary, and Travis Hutten.
