After a week off for the Wayne County Truck & Tractor pull, Wayne County Speedway gets back to regular racing this Saturday, May 15th with a Fast Five Show as the Malcuit Tavern Super Late Models will be chasing after a $2,000 to win, $200 to start feature this week. The Pine Tree Towing & Recovery Sprints, the CORBON Ammunition Modifieds, the McKenzie Concrete Super Stock and the JOYRIDE Transport Mini Stocks will all be in action as all classes will be chasing after more O’Reilly’s Auto Parts “Race to the Championship” points.
Next Saturday, May 22nd, the United Late Model Series ( ULMS ) will take on WCS’ 3/8 mile oval for a $3,000 to win race. The Pennsylvania based series have Rick Eckert, Chub Frank and Matt Lux, who all have feature wins at Wayne County Speedway in the past with Lux’s coming back on April 17th. Max Blair leads the ULMS points with Greg Satterlee and Jared Miley in the top three. Mitch Caskey, Ryan Markham, Doug Drown, Larry Bellman, J R Gentry and Brad Malcuit will be some of the WCS regulars trying to best the traveling drivers. The Modifieds, Super Stocks and the Mini Stocks will be part of this show as the Sprintcars take the week off.
The start times for this Saturday, May 15th are once again moved up an hour with gates open at 2 pm, hot laps/qualifying at 5 pm and the 1st race goes green at 6 pm.
